Salt Spring man shot dead

THIRTY-seven-year-old Roy Smith of Lamey Lane, Salt Spring, St James was shot dead by gunmen at Charley Clarke Lane in the community yesterday.
Reports are that about 5:00 pm, Smith was among a group at a shop when two masked gunmen approached. One of the men held him and during a struggle he was shot by the second man. He died on the spot. The Montego Bay Police are investigating.
