Omar McLeod became the first Jamaican man to win an Olympic gold medal in the 110-metre hurdles when he dominated the field in Rio de Janeiro last week. The 22-year-old from Sanguinetti in north-western Clarendon and a past student of Manchester High School and Kingston College clocked 13.05 seconds in a near-perfect display to win easily.
