Search on for five escaped prisoners

POLICE last night intensified their manhunt for five men who escaped from the Greater Portmore Police lock-up in St Catherine about 4:00 in the morning.
The men, whose ages range from 18 to 31, were being held for various crimes, including murder and robbery.
Police identified the men as:
* Amir Hanson, 18, of Portmore Villa, who was facing a charge of shooting with intent;
* Andrew Edwards, 19, who was charged with robbery with aggravation;
* Marvin Barnett, 33, of Spanish Town, who was charged with murder;
* Jomo Burnett, 31, of Gregory Park, St Catherine, who was charged for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition;
* Oshane Thomas, 34, of Braeton, St Catherine, who was facing a charge of illegal possession of firearm and robbery with aggravation.
Persons knowing the whereabouts of these men can contact the Portmore police at 949-8422, 119 or the nearest police station.
