Sections of St Elizabeth without water until Saturday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Electrical problems at two National Water Commission (NWC) facilities have caused customers in sections of St Elizabeth to be without water supply, the commission said today.
The affected areas are:
• Malvern, Munro, Hampton, Bethlehem, Belleview Housing Scheme, Top Hill, Southfield, Seaview, Congo Hole, Yardley Chase, St. Mary’s, Portsea, Milksham, Red Bank, Round Hill and Top Flagaman, which are served by the Malvern system.
• Bull Savannah, Comma Pen, Alligator Pond, Dunder Hill, Junction, Nembhard Town, Green Olive, Lane, Bent Town, Cheapside, Under Hill and Revitt, which are served by the New Forest Wells.
• Union, Raheen, Marlborough, Russell Hill, Phoenix Park, Balaclava, St Pauls, Roses Valley, Comfort Hall, Content, Free Town, Evergreen, Mount Pleasant and Beverley, which are served by the Union water supply system.
The NWC said it is working to restore supply and all customers should have service between Thursday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 26th.
