Snoop Lion endorses Obama
Friday, September 14, 2012 | 8:58 AM
President Barack Obama has been given a big rap boost as he campaigns for a November re-election - Snoop Dogg (or should that be Snoop Lion) wants him back in the White House.
The US leader already has Jay-Z in his corner - and now the west coast hip-hop icon Snoop is endorsing Obama.
Express.co.uk has reported that during a press conference at Canada's Toronto International Film Festival for his documentary Reincarnated, the newly-dubbed Snoop Lion told reporters he's backing the President.
He said, "Obama for four more years, man. (George W) Bush "messed" up for eight years, so, I mean, you gotta at least give him (Obama) eight years. He cleaned half the "crap" up in four years, realistically. It ain't like y'all gave him a clean house. Y'all gave him a house where the TV didn't work, the toilet was stuffed up - everything was wrong with the house."
The article stated that Snoop admits he was a big fan of Obama's hunt for terrorist leader Osama bin Laden: "He knocked down our most hated, the most wanted, the one who had our terror on orange or red or whatever colour it was on; he went and found him - the one Bush couldn't seem to find, the one who seemed to fly away in the dead of night and all that.
"He went and found him and knocked him down, so don't forget about that. Now everybody is peaceful and able to move and go and have a good time - it's because he made that happen. So please don't forget that... Give him four (more) years to get his thing together and finish this deal out."
