Despite being soaked from head to toe, these students had reason to smile, while walking home from school on Maxfield Avenue in Kingston yesterday. Heavy showers flooded a number of streets in Kingston, and the National Meteorological Service last night urged citizens to brace for more rains over the weekend. According to the Met Service, the unstable weather is a result of an area of low pressure with an associated trough in the central Caribbean. It said periods of heavy showers and thunderstorms will occur today through to Sunday, with a gradual improvement on Monday. (Photo: Bryan Cummings)
