Spanish Town lock-up escapee surrenders to police
KINGSTON, Jamaica— One of the four prisoners who escaped from the Spanish Town lock-up in St Catherine on Wednesday September 10 has turned himself in.
Twenty-two-year-old Zenas Jemison of Fraser’s Content, St Catherine, turned himself in to the Spanish Town Police Monday, September 16. He was accompanied by his lawyer.
Jemison was among a group of four men who cut their way through a grille at the back of the cell. Twenty-five-year-old Kevin Johnson, who was among the group of escapees, was recaptured on Thursday, September 11.
Twenty-one-year-old Andre Knight of March Pen Road and Rushane Fredrick of Fraser’s Content, both in St Catherine are still at large.
Meanwhile the Police are warning the public that the two, Knight and Fedrick, were incarcerated for serious offences and are considered dangerous.
