St Ann man victim of suspected hit-and-run

OCHO RIOS, St Ann – The Ocho Rios police in St Ann have commenced a probe into a suspected case of hit-and-run in the Colegate community this morning.

The dead man has been identified as 44-year-old Percival Coombs, a cabinet marker of Colegate in the parish.

Coombs' body was discovered along the Colegate main road shortly after five-o-clock this morning.

The police who were called to the scene believe Coombs was the victim of a hit-and-run.  

Investigators who processed the scene are asking anyone who may have information which can assist in their probe to contact them.
