St Elizabeth cops seize cash, ganja in raid

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Lawmen attached to the St Elizabeth Division seized a quantity of ganja and a sum of cash at the Lewis Housing Scheme, Haughton in the parish earlier today.

The Lacovia police report that between 2:00 and 3:00am, lawmen conducted an operation in the area during which approximately 120 pounds of ganja and more than $887,000 were seized during a search of premises in the area.

Three people were arrested in connection with the find; their names are being withheld pending further investigations.
