St Elizabeth teenager killed

Santa Cruz, Jamaica — Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a 16 year-old boy, said to be a student of Newell High School while he slept at his home in Slipe, SW St Elizabeth in the early hours of Saturday morning.

 

Police say the teenager, identified as Melenec Campbell, was at home with his father and two siblings when gunmen kicked open the door and shot him several times all over his body.

 

Investigators say they are yet to establish a motive for the killing.
