St Mary man drops bag of ammo during knife fight

KINGSTON, Jamaica - The Richmond police in St Mary on Sunday recovered several rounds of ammunition after a fight between two men at Alerpo district in the parish.

According to police reports about 7:15 pm the two were reportedly involved in a dispute during which a knife was brought into play. During the fracas a bag reportedly fell from one of the men. It was retrieved and handed over to the police when it was discovered that it contained 31 rounds of 9 mm cartridges.

Two men were taken into custody; their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
