Chicken-out
A woman runs with a live chicken that was thrown from a Caribbean Broilers truck that was involved in a four-vehicle crash — that included a Jamaica Urban Transit Company bus, a Toyota Noah minivana and a Toyota Corolla — along the Spanish Town bypass, in the vicinity of the Old Harbour Road roundabout, in St Catherine, on Monday. The female driver of the Toyota Noah was hurt in the accident and was taken to hospital by police who were called to the scene. One woman was arrested on the scene for allegedly assaulting a police officer. (Photos: Garfield Robinson)
Blame it on the rain

Carted off
Monday’s heavy rains provided an opportunity for handcart owners to make a few extra bucks in downtown Kingston. For $20 per ride, handcarts were used to take persons across flooded streets in the bustling business district.
