Suspected drowning in Norbrook

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Nine-year-old Avaughnee Simmonds of Norbrook Heights in St Andrew is suspected to have drowned after he went for a swim in the Norbrook River in St Andrew Saturday morning.
Reports from the Constant Spring Police are that about 9:30am Avaughnee and his siblings went for a swim in the river when he got into difficulties. The police were summoned and his body removed to the morgue pending a postmortem.
The Constant Spring Police are investigating.
