TVJ general manager resigns

KAY Osborne has resigned as general manager of Television Jamaica (TVJ).

Osborne reportedly submitted her resignation at the end of December. However, the Observer was unable to ascertain what led to her decision.

TVJ is a member of the RJR Communications Group which earlier this month cut 31 jobs in what it said was a reorganisation.

RJR said the changes were made “via redundancy of positions, contract termination and non-renewal of contracts”.
