Teen killed in College Green

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Homicide investigators in the St Andrew Central police division are trying to ascertain the identity of a teenager who was killed in the College Green community yesterday.
Police report that they were summoned after residents reported hearing gunshots at about 2:00 pm. When they arrived the teen's lifeless body was found with several gunshot wounds.
The police said he appeared to be between 15 and 17 years old.
The police also reported that several robberies have taken place in the vicinity in recent weeks.
