Thirty-one not out

Wednesday, May 04, 2011

Eleanor Miller, group director of Sandals Resorts International, is the darling of her bosses, chairman Gordon 'Butch' Stewart (left) and CEO Adam Stewart, who awarded her for 31 years of sterling service to the Caribbean's leading resort chain. The presentation took place at a glitzy though rain-affected, ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of Sandals on Monday night at the Sandals Grande Ocho Rios in St Ann. Miller moved to Sandals from Appliance Traders Limited (ATL), Butch Stewart's first company, after he founded the hotel chain with the purchase of the old Bay Roc hotel in Montego Bay, St James.
