KINGSTON, Jamaica — Vendors who ply their trade in and around Kingston’s Coronation Market are expected to see some improvement in their working condition following a visit to the area by Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC) officials today.

Yesterday, Town Clerk Errol Green said that the officials would be looking at the market conditions to begin clean-up operations.

Irate vendors, last week, blocked sections of Spanish Town Road to protest conditions at the market after sewage flooded sections of the facility.

"Since the complaint KSAC has visited the area and have promised to rectify the problem," a vendor said this morning.
