The project is valued at $6 million and is funded by the Constituency Development Fund and implemented by the Rurul Agricultural Development Association (RADA).
In a release to the media today the agriculture ministry said participating farmers have already been trained how to manage the facilities.
The training programme was conducted by the Christiana Potato Growers’ Association in collaboration with RADA.
