Two cops charged with murder

MANDEVILLE, Manchester — CONSTABLE Eveneene Gallimore and District Constable Kemar Sewell were charged with murder when they appeared before the Mandeville Resident Magistrates Court today.
The police officers were charged with the murder of George Green on Main Street, Christiana on March 19, 2012.
The cops were charged following the conclusion of an investigation by the Independent Commission of Investigation, (INDECOM).
Both officers were offered bail in the sum of $450,000 with surety and were instructed to surrender their travel documents.
The matter was set for mention on September 19, 2012.
