Two-day curfew in Kingston Western Police Division

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Two communities in the Kingston Western Division have been placed under a two-day curfew. The curfew began at 7:00pm Wednesday and will remain in effect until 6:00pm Friday.

The communities and boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

Admiral Town/Lincoln Crescent

North along Rousseau Road from William Road to Lincoln Crescent;

East along Lincoln Crescent from Rousseau Road to Lincoln Avenue;

South along Lincoln Avenue from Lincoln Crescent to William Road; and west along William Road from Lincoln Avenue to Rousseau Road.

Denham Town

North along Race Course Lane from Wellington Street to Blount Street;

East along Blount Street on to Bond Street from Race Course Lane to North Street;;

South along North Street from Bond Street to Last Street; and west along Last Street on to Wellington Street.

The police have advised that during the hours of the curfews all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the member of security forces who is in charge of enforcing the curfew.
