Two held in Lucea gun seizure

THE Lucea Police seized a 9mm Glock pistol, 10 cartridges and a magazine while on patrol on the Hopewell main road in Hanover yesterday evening. Two men were held in connection with the seizure.
Reports from the Lucea Police are that about 6:00 pm, a team was on patrol in the area when they signaled the driver of a Toyota motorcar with two men aboard to stop. One of the occupants of the vehicle exited and reportedly ran before he was caught and searched. The firearm, ammunition and magazine were later found.
Investigations continue.
