KINGSTON, Jamaica — Two minors accused of stealing a million dollars worth of music appliances were remanded into police custody when they appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday.‎

Reports are that on May 16, the complainant saw one of the accused inside the building housing the items and raised an alarm.

The other burglar was caught in the vicinity and took the police to two separate locations where the items, estimated at J$1 million, were recovered.

In court, an attempt was made at bail applications but Senior Magistrate Judith Pusey told the attorney to have a "mature conversation" with the accused in light of the allegations.

The duo had pleaded not guilty.

A mention date was subsequently set for June 12.
