UPDATE: Hanover gangster was a suspect in murder of Williamsfield children
HANOVER, Jamaica — The police are reporting that the top tier member of the 'One Voice' gang, Omario Burrell, who was shot dead in the parish last night, was a suspect in last months triple murder in Williamsfield, Hanover.
The 21-year-old Burrell who is commonly referred to as Duplex was killed during the execution of a search warrant in the community of Mount Pleasant.
Reports are that about 9:30 last night, the police went to a house in which Burrell was staying, when he reportedly drew a gun and was shot by the police.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ainsley McCarthy, who is assigned to the Hanover police division, said Burrell's name was recently called in the Williamsfield triple murder, which included two children.
Mount Pleasant is in close proximity to that community.
The Williamsfield killings reportedly took place in two separate attacks on the night of January 18.
The victims have been identified as 34-year-old Hopeton Lee, five-year-old Kimani Johnson and one-year-old Daquan Davidson.
Another police officer told OBSERVER ONLINE that Burrell, who is originally from Westmoreland, has been involved in these kind of activities from he was in school.
The source said he has been in and out of police custody.
The source further added that Burrell was featured in a killing, but was released from custody two weeks ago as a witness withdrew from an ID parade at the eleventh hour.
