Veronica Campbell-Brown was beaten into second place in the 200m at a meet in Lucerne, Switzerland today.
The reigning Olympic 200m champion ran 22.70 but that was not enough to stop American Charonda Williams winning in a personal best time of 22.52.
Campbell-Brown tweeted after the race “Not the result I wanted. But I am thankful that I am healthy and have the opportunity to move forward towards the Olympics.”
Aleen Bailey was third in 22.70.
