PEOPLE'S National Party stalwart Vanries 'Vanny' Leckey-Myrie was last month laid to rest in an emotional thanksgiving ceremony at the Hampton Court Seventh-day Adventist Church in St Thomas.

Leckey was an affable, loving community servant who touched the lives of many in the Dalvey Division of the parish.

Life Tributes joins with her relatives, friends and colleagues in hailing this daughter of the soil.
