Water disruptions in St Mary, Clarendon

Wednesday, July 25, 2012 | 11:36 AM

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers in Tower Isle, Balmoral Heights and surrounding areas of St Mary, that their water supply will be disrupted until 6:00pm today.

This is to facilitate valve repairs in the Tower Isle area.

In addition, customers served by the Mineral Heights well in Clarendon are presently without regular water supply, due to electro-mechanical problems at the facility.

Areas affected include:

  • Mineral Heights
  • Halse Hal
  • May Pen
  • Curatoe Hill
  • Canaan Heights
  • Trenton Road
  •  Longbridge Avenue
  • Sunnyside Avenue.

The NWC says repairs are currently being carried out and water supply is expected to return on Friday.
