Water lock-off in St Elizabeth until Friday
Monday, February 04, 2013 | 7:56 PM
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Sections of St Elizabeth will be without water until Friday the National Water Commission (NWC) said in a release Monday.
Among the areas to be without regular supply are Bull Savannah, Junction, Comma Pen, Nembhard Town, Alligator Pond, Dunder Hill, Lititz, Green Olive, Lane, Rose Corner, Bent Town, Cheapside and Revitt.
The NWC said that the interruption is due to urgent maintenance required at the New Forest facility.
Water will be trucked to the affected areas until the facility is operational, the NWC said.
