SOME St Andrew and St Thomas communities are now without water due to mechanical problems at systems run by the National Water Commission (NWC).
St Andrew customers in Bucky Plain, Belmont, Grant Hill, Florence Hill, Lawrence Tavern, Mount Ogle, Matthew Road, Toms River, Cokely and Johnny Ridge are without regular supply due to problems at the King Weston pumping station.
Additionally, St Thomas customers in Spring Garden, Middleton, Stony Gut and Stanton are experiencing water disruptions as the Spring Gardens system is out of operation to due to mechanical problems.
The NWC says it’s working to restore supply to all areas as soon as possible.
