As the calls for the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium to be transformed into a world-class sporting facility in the hands of UTech get louder than ever, people wonder whether the deafening silence is a signal that no one's listening. After the outstanding performance of our athletes at the 2012 Olympics people say it's a ready-made golden opportunity for the further development of track and field into a regional industry. Or, perhaps the preference is for it to be used once per year as a concert venue and then the rest of the year as a place for grazing... literally.

People are quietly questioning the head honcho's big promotion out of the hot seat for greener pastures. Thing is, there's no greater life than life on The Rock, is there?
