Woman charged for injuring 16-y-o sister with soup

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Detectives from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) have charged 20-year-old Patricia Williams of Kidd Lane, Kingston 13 for assault occasioning grievous bodily harm of her sixteen-year-old sister.
Reports are that on Friday, August 03, Williams threw hot soup on her sister during a dispute where she sustained injuries. The matter was reported to CISOCA, which carried out investigations and Williams was subsequently charged.
She is to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate Court on Friday, August 17.
