Woman killed in hit and run

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Eighty-one-year-old Inez Williams, who is believed to be of unsound mind, died as a result of head injuries received from a hit-and-run along the Spanish Town Bypass in St Catherine this morning.

Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that about 4:00am a motor car heading towards Kingston reportedly hit Williams. She was later taken to Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The driver did not stop.

Police investigations continue.
