SIXTY-ONE-YEAR-OLD Beverly Cox, otherwise called ‘Bev’, a business operator of Port Henderson Road, Portmore, St Catherine, was last night killed in her home.
Reports from the Bridgeport Police are that about 8:57 pm, residents heard explosions and reportedly saw two men, one armed with a handgun, walking away from the premises.
On arrival of the lawmen, Cox was seen lying facedown in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds. She was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
