Woman’s throat slashed in Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth — The St Elizabeth police have confirmed that a woman’s throat was slashed in the vicinity of Santa Plaza this afternoon.
Reports are that the incident happened at about 1:30 pm and the woman had to be rushed to the Black River Hospital. The state of her condition was unknown at the time of publication.
Police investigators who were still at the crime scene when the Jamaica Observer made contact are still trying to determine what transpired.
