SANTA CRUZ, St Elizabeth — The St Elizabeth police confirmed that a vendor's throat was slashed in the vicinity of Santa Plaza yesterday afternoon, allegedly by her former lover.
The woman, who was stabbed about 1:30 pm, was taken to Black River Hospital where she was admitted. It was not clear last night what were the extent of her injuries.
Investigators were, meanwhile, trying to determine what caused the dispute which led to the injury of the vendor.
