Woman shot in St Elizabeth

SILOAH, St Elizabeth — A 28-year-old woman from Devon in Manchester is nursing gunshot wounds in hospital after being attacked by gunmen in the Siloah area of St Elizabeth.
The woman and her mother travelled to Siloah at about 10:00 am today [October 18] on a mission to purchase goats.
However, two masked men armed with handguns pounced the women and attempted to rob them.
The women reportedly tried to escape and the gunmen shot the 28-year-old.
She was taken to hospital and admitted.
The police are now reportedly searching the area for the two gunmen.
