Police said yesterday that a Canadian tourist has been reported missing here.

Thirty-year-old Ailive McDonald, of North Service Road, Grimbsy, was staying at a hotel in Rosehall, St James. He has, however, not been seen since last Tuesday.

McDonald is of a fair complexion, stout build, and is about 193 centimetres (6 feet 4 inches) tall, with a tattoo on his neck.

The Barrett Town police report that McDonald was last seen leaving the hotel about 8:16 pm, wearing a white T-shirt and pants. All efforts to contact him since have proven futile.

The police are asking anyone knowing his whereabouts to contact the Barrett Town police at (876)953-7899, the police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
