Newly appointed director of tourism at Jamaica Tourist Board, Donovan White has been elected president of the Kingston College Old Boys' Association.

White replaces Dr Patrick Dallas, who remains a director.

Other elected officers are Charley Grant, vice-president; Tony Allen, secretary; Anthony Litchmore, treasurer, along with other directors former sprinter Andre Wellington, Jamaica Public Service Company executive Rick Case, and Victor Henry, who returns for another term.

Standing Committee heads were also elected for three of the four groups, with Case chairing the Membership & Honours committee; Litchmore heading Finance & Investments; and Grant and Allen co-chairing the Academic Affairs and Student Welfare committtee.

It marks the first time that White will serve the executive of the organisation in any capacity.

Grant and Allen, like Dallas and Henry, have served in previous administrations.

The board meeting to elect officers was held last Monday, March 12, following the annual general meeting held on February 28 at which eight directors were elected, from whom the officers were chosen.
