Monsignor Kenneth Richards administers incense over the casket containing the remains of former Member of Parliament Enid Bennett during her funeral service held at the St Helen's Roman Catholic Church, Linstead, St Catherine yesterday. Below, members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force begin the journey of taking the body to its final resting place, the Heartfield Cemetery, despite heavy rain. Bennett died on December 22 last year, aged 86. She served the people of St Catherine in Parliament for 21 years, from 1976 to 1997.
