C&W Mobile revs up promotion
Observer Reporter
Thursday, November 24, 2005

CABLE and Wireless yesterday announced further incentives for its bmobile customers under its 'Anyone Plan' - the reduced rate plan it launched in mid-September.

The new incentives, that will take effect today, will see the company giving its customers $1 credit for every minute of each call received from any mobile phone or landline, while it will double the value of phone credit purchased from today until Christmas Eve.

The $1 promotion will run until February 5, 2006 and the free credit will be applied to customers' accounts at the end of each month.

"Buy a $100 credit and you get another hundred free. If you add 300 (dollars) you get another 300 (dollars) in free credit, it's that simple," said the company's president and chief executive officer, Rodney Davis, at a press conference at the company's Carlton Crescent headquarters.

The new incentives form the core of the company's new $125-million marketing campaign which is intended to increase its market share.
