GREEN ISLAND, Hanover - The Green Island Police were last night investigating the machete slaying of a pregnant Swedish national, whose mutilated body was found by her fiancé on Thursday night at their home in the parish.
The police say that Henrietta Jensen, 37, had machete wounds all over her body. Both legs and her right arm were also amputated.
A friend reportedly gave Jensen a lift to her home in Abimgdon Property, Green Island, Hanover, at 6:45 pm on Thursday, the police say.
About 11:45 pm, her fiancé arrived home and discovered her dismembered body in a pool of blood in her bedroom. Investigators who went to the scene of the crime reported that the front door was kicked in.
However, the police ruled out robbery as the motive, saying her attacker/attackers had not removed her engagement ring from her finger or Jamaican and US dollars that was found at the house.
