TWO more men were last week charged by police with the killing of four persons at Industry Village, St Andrew on February 4.
Previously charged with four counts of murder, conspiracy to murder, illegal possession of firearm and shooting with intent are 26-year-old Dwayne Ricardo Morgan, a barber of Duncaster Drive, Kingston 2 and Sheldon Rookwood 26, carpenter of Industry Village.
Charged last week were Horace Oliver Clue Jr, 17, and 20-year-old Joshimar Olando Gray, both of Industry Village. The police reported that shortly after 9:00 on the night of Monday, February 4, Wayne Morris, 17, alias 'Abba'; Anthony Williams, 21, and Orane Williams, 16, all of Industry Village, were playing dominoes when they were pounced on by men armed with guns. The gunmen opened fire, killing all three on the spot.
Nineteen-year-old Romeo Webber of Waterford, St Catherine who was returning from a nearby shop was chased and fired at by the men. In a bid to escape, he jumped from a bridge, sustained injuries and died on the spot.
Two of the men, Morgan and Rookwood who were implicated in the murders subsequently handed themselves over to the police and were formally charged Saturday. The other two, Clue and Gray were picked up by the police shortly after the incident.
The four are scheduled to appear in the Half Way Tree Resident Magistrate's Court on this Friday.
