
American girl wanted by US police held in Jamaica

An American teenager wanted by law enforcement officials in her country since April 2007, was yesterday arrested by members of Jamaica's Fugitive Apprehension Team at Letitz district, Watson Hill, St Elizabeth.
The girl - Julian Andrea Hill, also known as "Camiell Roxanne Gordon", a 17-year-old student of North West, Sunrise Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida - is wanted by the Supreme Court of Cobb County in the State of Georgia for murder and attempted robbery.
She will also be facing charges in Jamaica for breaches of the Immigration Act.
According to the Constabulary Communication Network, the information arm of the Jamaica police Force, about 10:30 yesterday morning members of the Fugitive Apprehension Team carried out an operation in the Watson Hill area during which Hill was nabbed.
It is alleged that on April 21, 2007 Hill was involved in an attempted robbery in Smyrna Cobb. A man was allegedly shot and killed during the incident. She allegedly fled to Jamaica shortly after, where she had been hiding prior to her apprehension.
