Sandals Luxury-Included all-inclusive resort offerings wowed travel agents and industry experts in the United Kingdom, copping two more awards - the 'Best All-Inclusive Resort Operator' and 'Resort Operator of the Year'.
For the 12th consecutive year, Sandals and Beaches Resorts were honoured as the 'Best All-Inclusive Resort Operator' at Travel Bulletin's 2008 Globe Travel Awards at the Landmark Hotel in London. The awards, which are voted for by 30,000 UK-based travel agents, were presented by English comedian and writer, Jeff Green.
The 'Resort Operator of the Year' award was received at the TTG Travel Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane. These awards are judged by a panel of 40 travel industry experts. The TTG Travel Award is presented to a truly outstanding resort operator which has shown a genuine commitment to travel agents. The winner offers great service and training, excellent customer experience, as well as demonstrates a strong business approach and clear financial success in the last 12 months.
"We are delighted to be recognised once again by the industry - it's great to win not just one, but two awards," said Gordon 'Butch' Stewart, chairman of Sandals and Beaches Resorts.
"The travel agents who deal with the customers know the feedback they get is based on Sandals ability to deliver quality product and service, consistently," he added.
Known for their leadership in Caribbean travel, Sandals has once again raised the bar among distinctive resort destinations with the introduction of the Luxury Included Holiday and a collection of luxury suites in Jamaica, Antigua, St Lucia and the Bahamas. The new luxury experience at Sandals features unprecedented services and amenities including private plunge pools and Jacuzzis, exclusive dining options, and celebrated partnerships with celebrity designers Preston Bailey and Sylvia Weinstock, Rolls Royce; the London-based Guild of Professional English Butlers, Beringer Wines, Dessy bridal gowns and Red Lane Spa.
