THE Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has said that improvement works currently being undertaken by the National Works Agency in the Hagley Park Road/Three Mile area will continue to affect its service through to June 2019.

It urged commuters who live, work or traverse these areas and use the affected routes, that it operations will be severely impacted as the work intensifies.

“We are projecting that in July/August there will be impact on our schedules and extended passenger travel time. Passengers are, therefore, being encouraged to come out earlier than usual to prevent unusually long delays, as this area is heavily trafficked,” the bus company said.

“We are appealing to commuters to exercise patience and understanding, as the improvement work is scheduled for completion June 2019.
