Heather Pinnock (centre), acting general manager at the Urban Development Corporation, points out an aspect of one of the three-dimensional models in the Government of Jamaica's People's Choice Exhibition on display at the National Gallery of Jamaica to Karl Samuda (right), minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, with responsibility for water, housing and infrastructure, and O'Neil Lawrence, senior curator at the gallery, during the minister's visit to the exhibition on Tuesday. The exhibition, which runs through to Thursday, February 28, showcases the top five architectural drawings, models and visual animations in the Houses of Parliament Design Competition. The competition, which commenced in May 2018 will end in March 2019 when the winning design will be announced for Jamaica to move a step closer to attaining a purpose-built parliamentary building.
