MONTEGO BAY, St James — The St James police are yet to establish a motive for Monday night's killing of two women in the Catherine Hall area of Montego Bay, St James.

The two have been identified as 41-year-old Cleopatra Fletcher, otherwise called Keisha, of a Catherine Hall address, and Dawnette Shettleworth of the neighbouring community of Westgreen.

Reports from the police are that about 5:35 pm, Shettleworth and Fletcher were at a nail salon in Catherine Hall when they were pounced upon by a gunman who fired several shots hitting them.

The gunman then escaped on foot.
