Insurance and business mogul R Danny Williams launched his biography last Thursday at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston.

The book, titled I Tried to Make a Difference, is written by veteran journalist Sandy McIntosh.

The event was attended by some of the island's top business personalities, as well as students from Williams' alma mater Jamaica College (JC).

Williams, the founder of Life of Jamaica who also served this country in many capacities, including as a government minister in the 1970s, presented copies of the book to JC and the National Library.

Here are photo highlights of the evening.
