Close to 60 religious siters of the Archdiocese of Kingston — including sisters of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters, Order of Saint Francis, Missionaries of the Poor, Daughters of Divine Love, Servants of Mary/Servite Sisters, Professed Sisters, and Madonna della Strada communities — were feted by the Catholic Schools Ministry at an appreciation luncheon inside M at the Valencia, Spanish Court Hotel, yesterday. Guest speaker Monsignor Michael Palud, congregation of the oratory, delivered expressed gratitude to the sisters and the next generation of sisters for their contribution to the development of the nation, before the Immaculate Conception Chamber Ensemble, under the direction of Steven Woodham, OD, provided entertainment.
