Batsmen Fabian Allen heads the batting averages for the Jamaica Scorpions as the regional four-day cricket tournament resumes this Thursday with the Jamaicans facing Guyana Jaguars at Sabina Park. Allen, 22, a past student of Vere Technical High School and native of Neif Mountain, south-east St Elizabeth, who made his first-class debut last year, has so far scored 400 runs in five games this season. He has hit two centuries for an average of 66.67. Photo shows Allen on the drive during his century against the Windward Islands Volcanoes at Sabina Park last month. The wicketkeeper is Denis Smith, while Devon Smith watches from slip.
