President-Elect of the Jamaica Teachers' Association Owen Speid reads to students of his alma mater, Windsor Castle Primary in Portland, last Tuesday morning and handed a set of books to p rincipal Claudet Brimm-Layne.

He was accompanied by the association's regional officer Devon Meeks who also read.

They later went to Endfield Primary where they also read.

The Observer captured some of the action.
